Fakebook

I just found this today and LOVED it so much I just had to share! http://www.classtools.net/fb/home/page I think it has so many interesting possibilities, especially for older students (MS, HS) but I 'd try it with my 5th graders too. Instead of a report on a famous person you create a "Fakebook" page for them. Cool, huh?

  1. Hi Prof. This is really funny. Could really be a way to make social studies fun. Maybe even to use as extra credit.

  2. I love fakebook!I actually shared this with my 6th grade class I was subbing for & our social studies teacher at my middle school. She loved it and was going to incoporate it in her classes. Thank you Prof.! By the way, did you try checking out my webpage again, I finally figured the site was redirecting my page. However, now you just have to enter classroom name & password in all caps & select parent button & you can view it! I have this revised info on my blog as well. Thank you for your understanding. I did post it early on Saturday morning. Thank you.
